Out of 374. That is 6.1% of the book. WHY on EARTH is the media attention focused on him; why on EARTH are there so many posters of him, and WHY WHY WHY did that interviewer confuse Gale with Peeta?

ACTUALLY. Josh said in an interview that they are including more scenes with Gale seeing how he reacted to watching the games and what not, so he is going to be in the movie more so than he was in the book. Just saying.
